Each Spun Yarn Manuscript Report consists of three core components – Flash Feedback, Qualitative Feedback, and Quantitative Feedback.

Flash Feedback: At the quarter, halfway, three-quarters, and ending point in the book, your Spun Yarn Reader will provide input on the reading experience. Flash Feedback provides excellent insight into what readers are thinking in real time as they read a manuscript.

Qualitative Feedback: Your Spun Yarn reader will provide feedback on what they thought were the best aspects of a book, along with their opinion on the focus areas most in need of improvement. Authors also have the opportunity to pose one question directly to the Spun Yarn reader at the outset of the feedback process, which is answered in this section of the Manuscript Report.

Quantitative Feedback: In this third section of the report, your reader provides a numerical score of your novel on a scale of 1 -10 in eight key categories. Although quantitative feedback is subjective, we’ll be able to tell you how this manuscript compares to others read by your reader, and to the average manuscript scores in general.
